I built this computer desk and chest of drawers for my wife.

Our house is relatively small, so we needed something small and configurable, which is why the drawers are separate from the desk. The desk is only 100 cm (about 39.5") wide, just enough for a laptop and some bills.

Construction

The primary wood on both pieces is alder.

The desk is just a table with a hole cut in the apron for the keyboard tray. Hardware for the keyboard tray is available from Lee Valley.
